How does Riot balance the game?
I was wondering how Riot balances the game since there are different servers in different regions. Right now I think a lot of players consider devourer op. Correct me if I am wrong. I am in Silver 3. I believe that different regions have different metas which lead to different things being considered overpowered. Suppose in Korea they don't consider devourer op? Suppose in China the Skarner changes are celebrated while in EU they are hated?
If so far I am correct in my assumptions, then I would like to ask how Riot manages to accommodate all the different requirements and player demands across all the servers in their patches. Does Riot sometimes struggle with this and are there instances where compromises are made? Of course I understand that a perfectly balanced game is impossible and that the game is in a good state.
