when is anything going to be done about brand

at this point I'd relish facing one of these funneled kai'sas or yis or karthuses than that champion. you can beat his face in as much as you try in laning phase but his base damage and aoe threat is so massive that he remains relevant throughout the game. without fail he's dealing more damage at the end of the game than multiple of his teammates combined, in the very least the most.

i don't mind mages being played as supports, but brand is just absolutely zero fun to face. constantly dodging pillars in order to not get comboed and lose half my hp or have followup cc poured onto me isn't fun. chain eruptions in a teamfight because he presses r on the guy in front isnt fun.

more work needs to be done to ensure brand stays behind if you put him behind. he's very safe, does a ton of damage, and scales irregardless of kda or items, which only exacerbate his threat thanks to rylais, liandries, etc.

his winrate has been creeping up, and i feel like i'm facing him a lot more than usual (before anyone snarkily comments, yes, i have recently lost to several brands, which is what prompts me to make this post). i think its time for riot to look at mage 'supports' in the bot lane again and question why they outdamage their carry counterparts, especially with all these different bot lane combinations flying around.
