FiddlesOnTheRoof4 votesI'm an AD main, so I'll be playing Xayah first, but I have to admit that Rakan looks spectacular, and has probably the most unique support kit in the game. I think his design is exactly what the support role needs to attract some players to it.

She has a 0.14% ban rate from champion.gg or a 0.05% ban rate from op.gg, not to mention there are almost never any posts requesting Janna nerfs/changes here on the boards (and ya, the boards don't represent the community in most cases but it does say something when the pool of complainers don't even complain about Janna's strength)
Or maybe people do recognize that she's strong, but just don't care because she doesn't delete anyone shrugs. Either case, the effect still remains that people simply don't care about a champion's strength if all they do is shield and peel/cc (unless their win rate is absolutely ridiculous like Ivern, but even he hasn't received much attention in comparison to assassins).
So I stand by my prediction: Rakan will be just another Janna who is constantly strong because all he does is provide support and his safetly lies in mobility, while Janna's lies in peel and range
