i started playing league for the first time in season 5 in the patch where winter wonder ori was releasred i think. if you think u used to be a noob, u wont believe the way i used to play, basically my first few games after bots what id do was play ashe, be a noob in lane till lvl 6 then id go into a bush and do nothing but stay there and try to kill steal snipe with my ult. everyone else got levels and farm and i dindt, and yet i wondered why i did no dmg. sfter i learned the basics i browsed throught the store for a main, and found akali instantly. i chose her not because of her kit her stats or anything i simply sae her portait and liked ninjas at the time. so i played a ninja. then for a long time i was on a spree of snowballing id just get my first kill, then go around the map oneshotting everyone 1v9inh eith my lead getting insane kdas every game, i was unbeatable i killed thier whole team one by one every game. after that i picked up talon, whos by main since lvl 25 i love him to death hes still my one trick now. what i used to do as talon was just stay in lane till 6 and roam everywhere. i didnt even pick a lane i just rtyped roamer in blind. as soon as i hit 6, i roamed around everwhere killing people and helping my team. those wer all unranked and pre 30 antics, im sorry i bored uw ith my league history but thee point is my latest and current play style is i just use my assassin of choice, oneshot the adc and wed always win cuz they have no chance of out damaging them if we have dps and they dont. thats how i win games thats how i always play, kill the adc with an asassin and then fight thier team and win

now im still a talon god if u check my op.gg w, but my issue as of now is i altough im good at talon hes the ONLY thing im good at. i need to learn new champs for situations talon isnt good, such as uh a shyvana/fiora/vayne/vlad/peel support comp or anything like that. this was never a problem befopre as if i got fed (i always do) i could just e into thier team use all my abilites and hydra and boom thier all dead.im not saying this is a good thing, i intend to learn brand for tank busting mid as a fall back and a tank jg for other situations. however i do think riuot went a tad overboard on the rework. duskblade is allowed to exisat becasue assassins NEED it for burst. talon and zed would have a much harder time assainating people without it. kayn and shaco basically have no chance of assassinating without it, they have to resort to tank dps other wise the thing is, why make assassins burst slower and harder to pull off? while other champs burst faster. here are a few examples annie ult oneshots faster than talon or zed ever will. ive gotten killed in 2 saas by vayne qcrits fast than the time it takes for talons w to even reach the intial range before the return delay and SHES A DAMN ADC u know what else kills people faster than asassins? viegar pressing r and killing u with one ability at 65 percent hp doing 17k dmg much effort and delays. now assassins burst is as fast as mages like ori and brand, but without the utility. might as well play a fighter fiver like vi or fiora who can still kill the adc but has cc utility and much more

Thing is people and Riot need to get through their head that the whole purpose for an assassin is to assassinate(clue's in the name assholes) so when you nerf the fuck out of every assassin because adc mains refuse to ward, stay with their team, and play safe then what's the point of having an assassin role in the game anyway??

Like we get outdamaged by nearly everyone that isn't a support(and even those are hard to kill with the amount of shield items and buffs Riot showers them with).

Tanks can just slap us around til we're dead, a mage can cc us then burst us from range faster than we ever could do to him, and an adc can auto us twice for a free kill, so what's the point of us existing in the game when Riot takes away our purpose to exist?

People complained about how there was no counterplay to assassins when wards, positioning, and shit like GA existed but tell me what the fuck is the counterplay to an adc bursting you down with 2 autos? or a mage blowing you up with 1 click of a button, tell me what the counterplay is to a tank that cc's you for an eternity then kills you faster than you could flash away? I hate how biased Riot is and wish they'd actually fix our role instead of us having to rely on item effects to deal(delayed) damage that's still weaker than anything an adc or mage can produce.

I saw assassin main and he earned my respect so I read it all. I just wish riot would pay any attention to what it's like to be an assassin player instead of having these changes be mostly about being an adc playing against them and low elo complaints. Literally duskblade wouldnt exist if they just made the kits good but you cant even give fizz a one second cd buff on his Q that he maxes last without boards yelling that the entire balance team should be fired. That's not even hyperbole it's been posted twice in the past 2 weeks with massive amounts of upvotes.

1.The thing is,if the adc dies the teamfight is over. 2. mid champions and adcs dont have that many diferences,if an assasin should intantly kill an adc without any couterplay what would stop him from doing that to the enemy mid? 3.why are so many people obsessed with AD assasins? the assasin role cosnists of ap assasins as well who are doing pretty well regardless of lethality changes. Note for OP:assasins have existed LONG before lethatlity,building item 3071 and item 3074 and item 3026

The problem is with the way the game is set, either the assassin kills the carry in 0.5 seconds or he's useless. This leads to a very unfun kind of gameplay. Every class in the game needs to be toned down so the game isn't so feast or famine, there's more room for outplays and the game doesn't feel so unfair.

Can we just nerf ALL in-game damage already? I miss when team fights included fun strategy and weren't decided by who could one shot the other first...

Assassins are amazing in this game. The scariest games are the ones with assassins. Assassins carry the hardest by far.

Its not true... at least for Shaco. He don't have much counterplay to begin, no gimmick as talon or any... Shaco players just need to use the good itemization. And with Talon even without the new duskblade OS ennemy was never an issue after fix.

With assassins u can't go in brainlessly like before... u need to plot. And this is what f*ck many.

Anyway if u need other pick Taliyah TwistedFate are good roamer too

The only time I am able to kill champions like Fiora is when I get stupidly fed out of laning phase. That's almost impossible considering how hard it is to kill mages in lane as assassin.

Play zed versus a decent taliyah and report back. She will shove and shove, harass you and btw still has better roaming potential with her ult.

Zeds laning is garbage, talons laning is garbage, fizz laning is garbage. You get poked down and shoved in 24/7. if you manage to get close to the enemy you get exhausted, if you dare to shove yourself the enemy jungle will just cockblock you 24/7.

Assassins need better laning phases.

Here is what I want to add in. Since I love ADC. What gives the assassin a good time to come into a team fight? What makes a good hit man? Setting up the kill, and getting out without anyone knowing it was them. Leaving no traces of you at the scene of the crime. Usually you kill them some place they are away from public, or at night time where they feel safe, and are asleep. They dont just walk into the home, kick down the front door, stomp all the way up to them and take out a fucking rifle making all that noise and kill them.

Assassins wait for the tanks to begin the cc chain and then go into the fight. Another reason why assassins suck late game, is because of the great support. The all mighty ass saving support. They are like the police officer of the team against an assassin.
