Natural talent and vampirism are not really equal and need power adjustments

Currently AP is valued at 21.75 gold per point =(amplifying tome) AD is valued at 35 gold per point =350 (long sword) life steal is valued at approximately 37.5 gold per point (vamp scepter -its ad) spell vamp doesnt really have a value and there is no way for me to calculate it logically to my knowledge. But keeping on topic the point im getting at is pretty simple. why does natural talent give 676 gold worth of base stats and vampirisim gives 75+? amount of stats in terms of gold. This isnt me trying to make an end all be all point about the value of certain stats. Im just noting that damage is so high and sustain so low that it seems illogical to even go for sustain at any point. I feel like this is part of riot's skew towards too much damage.

Edit: the biggest flaw I keep seeing people put out is that because vampirism is multiplicative in stats, so my comparison is intrinsically flawed. I dont think this is true. The reason is that if you think about it most players have begun no longer using vampirism because it is not that good and using natural talent instead. After trying out masteries without vampirism ive found that feast feels like it gives more of the overall sustain needed for the early game. To put it into another context everyone assumes multiplicative stats are better: 3 x 3=9 vs 3+3=6. My point is that vampirism breaks this logic because it's so low that it's more like 0.3 x 3=0.9. One idea i didnt realize was that it could be geared towards early game, as i noted earlier in this edit, but that still does not make sense. Why gear a multiplicative stat towards the early game where it would be most useless? with so little sustain you would still need sustain from somewhere else like items so you might as well just pick up the sustain from items and take the raw AD which will multiply much better overall.

In essence my arguement is that champions have such low base stats at lvl 1 that vampirism is useless and natural talent is better. As the game scales on natural talent remains better because no matter what, if you want sustain you need to purchase it in the form of a lifesteal item. This means that natural talent is superior at every phase of the game.

It isn't the value of masteries that makes them strong, its what they give you. Natural talent is good for the end game stats while vampirism gives sustain for the early game. You can easily split the points to give up a small amount of scaling stats and pick up sustain, for example this is what a lot of my pages look like.

1 hp on hit or spell use isn't a lot until you factor in how much you are aaing during laning.

You just can't compare lifesteal and raw AD like that

1% LS scales infinitely 1 AD stays 1 AD

that being said, the LS is still weaker imo, but that's to prevent boring sustain games toplane like when the masteries just came out and everyone had shit tons of sustain

depends if you get hextech gunblade becuase that counts as spell vamp

Your comparison is flawed. Lifesteal and spell vamp scale indefinitely based on damage done, and for that matter those bonuses are flat while the damage and AP is per level with a flat base.

I value the vampirism much more since there's a lot fewer items which provide leech sustain whereas all non tank champs will get plenty of AD or AP items already. Not needing to get a leech item to get that little bit of extra sustain helps a lot especially on champs who auto a lot and cast. Spell vamp is super rare too that this is worth way more to me than some minor damage stats

I've been seeing people use natural talent more now actually.

I take vampirism on literally every non ap champion. the ad isn't worth it. even on Jax.
