Why do Illaoi's tentacles count twice?

I noticed during a game as wukong that every single time I kill a tentacle it counts towards my CS. Today I was looking at my match history trying to figure out how well I was warding (terribly by the way) and noticed that I and some people on my team had INSANE wards destroyed numbers. 30+ even though no one had a red trinket. I then realized that Illaoi's tentacle's are the only way they could get that high as those who laned against illaoi always had the highest wards destroyed numbers. So my question is, is this a bug or is it intended for illaoi to screw up both our ward destroyed count and our CS count?

Um a few things The new blue trinket can have an theoretical infinite amount of ward that are one hit and visible and take one also the match history does not tell you if you have a pink trinket so it is very possible to get a high number wards destroyed

The creep score thing is not a bug The system has been in league for long time anything summoned by a champ except MAYBE clone are cs shaco boxes himer turrets, temmo Mushrooms , zyra plants, etc
