Kha'Zix or Rengar?

So I'm a Jungle main and I've been looking at some new junglers. I already have Rengar and am pretty decent with him, I'm thinking of getting Kha'Zix. Is Kha'Zix Better, Equal, or Worse than Rengar? Thanks in advanced.

They're both fairly different, actually.

Rengar is tankier, but has no escapes. He has more CC, but at the cost of damage. His damage is linked to AAs (Including his AA enchanced-Q), so he's effected by blinds and such.

Kha'Zix is an AD Caster. He's squishier, but he has much more teamfight mobility with Leap resets. He has more outplay potential. With Rengar, you use every ability to try and kill the enemy. With Kha'Zix, his ult and Q give you pretty good outplay potential combined with kiting and stealthing around your enemy. Kha'Zix can also fit into a disengage based teamcomp with his Evolved W.

Kha'Zix is currently on the rise due to small buffs while Rengar is on the decline due to nerfs. They're about equal, atm, I think.

Which Kha'Zix skin you like the most? I personally think Death Blossom looks sweet.

Honestly, I prefer his default skin.

While Death Blossom is pretty nice and has a fantastic recall animation, I prefer the colour scheme of his default skin.

Reduced slightly CDR on Q and W on the last patch.

The fact that people have realized how strong Death's Dance and Maw of Malmortius are on him has helped.

Almost every patch lately he's been getting stat adjustments.

Right now they lowered his Q/W cooldown, but previous buffs included basic thinks like armor increase, animation frame drop, AA attack speed, etc. Add in the item changes such as tiamet's buff, the addition of duskblade, etc and he's in a very good spot right now.

Just last patch cycle, the cooldown on his Q was reduced to 3 from 3.5, and the cooldown on his W was reduced by 1 second, IIRC. Earlier, the isolation radius was reduced, making it harder for his enemies to deny him isolation benefits.

Riot is wary of Kha'Zix buffs. During Season 3 and 4, Kha'Zix was a very dominant jungler due to his Evolved R reducing all damage he takes by half during the stealth, allowing him to use it to tank tower shots, and his isolation radius being much smaller, and towers not granting allies safety from isolation. Back then, Elise, Lee Sin, and Evelynn were the holy trinity of junglers, and Kha'Zix was the only thing that kept them sort of in line.

So, they nerfed him. They increased the isolation radius, made it so towers deny isolation, and took away the damage reduction from his evolved R. Since then, it's been little buffs here and there, as well as item changes like the new Duskblade and the changes to Maw of Malmortius, that have allowed Kha'Zix to come back.

Either E or Q. I evolve Q more often. It gives you much better dueling if you meet the other jungler, but E gives you better and safer ganks.

There is a hidden mechanic with the mecha kha'zix skin. Anytime your isolate passive activates on an enemy, you'll hear a beep. If you're doing a jungle camp and not paying attention this could save your life. I'd recommend taking mecha skin in ranked over the others, but design wise I find death blossom great.

Just if we're going to debate the "viability" of skins on kha'zix mecha actually helps him. I don't think any skin in the game besides mecha kha'zix actually benefits you.
