Why is AutoLoss still a feature??

I have never once seen a teammate go "Yay Autofill now we will win!"

The feature does not belong in a competitive game.

Do we see people getting autofilled in football?? "Hey its the big game lets put our quarterback as a defensive lineman and make benched Jerry over there throw the ball." That would go sooo well.

"Well queue times are faster".....I'd rather wait the 8 minutes to get everyone where they want then wait 3 and have autofilled people lose the game for the next 20 minutes.

I have not had one good experience with autofilled teammates. Oh and if you choose fill to save them from autofill...they can still be autofilled.

the problem with your analogy is that there aren't 8 million other people trying to get the quarterback role in a team of roughly 11 people for the big game

hear me out. you can better yourself as a player and learn more than 1 position so you can be a flexible competent team player.

does bjergsen always get mid lane? no

does qtpie always get adc? no

does dyrus always get top? no

so why do you think you should be a special snowflake and always get your role 100% of the time.

they tried that, remember your 8minute + queue time? or the streamers who hit an hour for a game?

I agree with your premise. It is frustrating to have people auto-filled to a role that they don't know how to play as well as other people at their MMR.

However I think the solution to this is not removing autofill. I think the solution would be to measure people's skill level separately for each role. Thus allowing them to be matched at a lower skill level when playing a role they do not normally play.

This would give players the added benefit of not getting screwed by being forced to play against players at their highest skill role's MMR when they play their lowest skill role.

Dude quit bitchin like a little punk. I'd rather save the time tbh. Learn to play the fucken role. One ranked game of league, even for promos, heck even 10 games, is nothing compared to a game of football (even highschool) or any real sport for that matter.
