Some really interesting things I noticed about Crit Builds
Neat little thing I noticed a while back. Felt like bringing it up. I'm going to list 5 items. Try to figure out something interesting about them:

I find it very interesting that anyone that builds Crit based auto attacks will almost always tend towards these 5 items. IE/ER and a Zeal item is the defining namesake of this build, everyone sans that one snake needs boots, Life Steal is at its most powerful in this type of build (and often heavily relied upon), and generally speaking, Crit based users are the team's tank buster, and Last Whisper is essential in this regard.
Design wise, a lot of these items and what they are designed to do do the ADC role justice in my eyes. The point of the ADC role is to be the team's squishy DPS Tank Buster; item and gold reliant but a monster when it gets those items and that gold. IE and ER are the epitome of this, as they offer no innate defense, synergize with a DPS statstick, and quite literally don't hit their full power spikes until you acquire that second item, reinforcing the whole "invest multiple items to achieve a huge powerspike later" schtick the role revolves around. Not to mention the finished products are just really expensive. Lifesteal is also interesting particularly in this build; it gets more powerful as you invest in other items. Yeah it's defensive in nature, but at least it has the same weaknesses that DPS champs as a whole already have, meaning you're just doubling up on your bonuses and weaknesses in this way. The whole build path just seems to be playing with a lot of really good ideas here.
Of course it has its problems; that's a post for another day. While we're here though, I kinda just hope that people here recognize some of the good that went into this build path. So many things work together to work with and define ADCs as a whole. Post if you noticed anything else neat about Crit based builds, maybe we can get something going for the next time an AD Itemization discussion opens up.
