So i just played game where we lacked ADC
And despite the fact we won it felt terrible.
So, it started like this: Zed didn't notice he was autofilled as ADC until it was too late. We had to improvise the matchups so... Zed went top against Darius (suicide if you ask me) Fizz went mid to face Ekko Kha jungle GP and me (i queued as supp) to bot lane
So, early laning was suprisingly good. Zed got 2 solo kill on Darius (WTF?!), i managed to solokill Sivir with lucky Q+flash to AA her before she could heal. Jax double killed our mid & jungle. GP was doing pretty good job farming, but man it sucks to farm as melee against both Sivir and Zyra. His oranges were permanently on CD. After several 4man bot clown fiestas we won bot by pushing their turret. We were slightly ahead in kills but behind in CS, so it pretty much evened out. Game was like 12/6 in our favour.
Then came midgame and our nightmare began. Since we lacked any ADCs, autoattackers and with me being the only champion capable of delivering ranged damage, we couldn't take single dragon or turret. It was simply impossible. Darius went full tank (not even BC) and invalidated 4/5 of our team despite being slightly behind. We had to 4v1 him to take him down, you can imagine how terrible it was. At one point we SOMEHOW managed to get ace on drake for only 1 death. Everyone had nearly full HP and we decided to go Baron. Yeah. You can imagine how fun is it to take baron without right-clickers. Long story short, underfed Sivir appeared, 3 of us died and Baron stood with full hp. At this point, Jax was like 12/2, Darius was unkillable and so was Ekko because he was slightly ahead and because of his kit. Zyra just finished her Rylais so permaslows everywhere. Literally nightmare. Enemy pushed into our base, i couldn't do anything really. My+GP's waveclear was nearly enough to keep them busy, but their splitpush was too good, Jax/Darius were unbeateable even in 2v1 and Ekko just farmed me.
After 2 failed surrender votes they decided to take baron. Luckily, Kha had quick fingers and stole it, with him and Fizz dying in process. They went drake so we had time to regroup. In next teamfight i managed to land full combo on Ekko, Darius and Jax, we killed Jax and Ekko instantly, then cleaned backline and finally that annoying Darius. I got like 3k gold, and from there it went very well. With maxed MRpen i was able to chunk or kill Darius if he got too cocky, or annihilate anyone else caught in my WER. We won by splitpushing (since siege was impossible without ADC, and as i was vital to my team's survival i couldn't get anywhere near turret, especially with 2 jumpy semi-assassins and Sivir's R. We won the game with everyone peeling for me (such a shame i didn't screenshot that Zed typing in capslock "PEEL FOR SQUID"). Everyone but Darius could literally one-shot me, i had to kite darius AND kill their damage dealers. Despite winning and carrying the game, it felt terrible. Not being able to scratch turrets or take drakes 20-30minutes in... jeez. I got S+ for trying and i honored everyone on my team. Wouldn't do it again.
