What the Sol?

I took a brief hiatus from the game, watched some rossboomsocks and became inspired to play again.

So... why'd they do that to Aurelion Sol? His W is now trashfire. It wasn't the greatest thing in the world when I left, but at least you could find your positioning and get into this sort of flow.... a flow of boops if you will, and go to town. You could threaten an engage just by having your w expanded or try to kite people away if you had rylais. Now it's... what? Press w, hope you're positioned for a star or two to hit, reposition only to find that whoops! Your star timer is out, gotta wait to try again. And then you die or sit there useless because your main damage source is on cooldown. Aaaaallllllrighty then.

Now, I wouldn't have a big issue with making w a spell if 1) the duration were a bit longer and 2) the movement burst came at the START of the cast, and not the end. Riot. If you gave Sol that movement burst at the start, the player could find their positioning so much quicker, and we could use it to threaten a tide-turn, because then, the enemy would have to respect the sudden momentary power he has at his disposal. The Sol player could have a more responsive disengage/engage utility rather than just having a crappy "oh guess I'm done now" moment at the end of his w.

That said. New panth is kinda fun.

Don't play much sol, but it sounds like the movement speed burst should start at the beginning of the cast and maybe decay at a slow rate over time, which would give it more utility.
