Need a bit of jungle help

YOUGOTKILLEDBRO··1 votes·485 views

Well yeah, I am bronze 5, and can not rank up at all, 7 straight losses. I play Zac a ton, and also use a few other tank junglers such as nunu, gragas, hecarim, and olaf. Would anyone be able to give me some tips on how to climb and good carry champions? Cause I can't carry these shits that they call "bronzes" (not in rage mode at all lol).

There are soooooooo many tips one can give you on this subject. That is a very broad question. I am mainly typing here to bump your thread though... ANNNND to at least say that I think Nunu is an excellent champion to use to learn the jungle.

At a certain point, Nunu can just walk into the enemy jungle for free because he is so hard to kill. Whenever you start invading, you can start learning how enemy junglers are pathing and how their team is warding. You can start seeing the possibilities of how you can counter jungle or just take advantage of knowing where the enemy jungler is AND is NOT!

Don't play support junglers in low elo. By support junglers I mean nunu and ivern. Just ask yourself "Who will i be supporting." The answer is a team full of morons. no better to throw on your carry pants and get to work.

I agree with you 100%. I just feel like for the clueless player who is trying to learn the jungle on his own, Tank junglers or heavy sustain junglers are the best to start with. Like a Nunu or like a Xin Zhao.

Your cs is terrible. Sometimes you feed. Your kill participation is good. But when you are ahead, what are you doing to extend your lead into map pressure and killing the nexus?

  1. Junglers should have the 2nd least cs in the game, yet I can agree that it is bad, and I am working on improving that.
  2. I do sometimes, but my feeding games are few and far between
  3. I am really REALLY trying to shotcall for my team, nobody will follow up on a free baron, and instead go for kills, or a free dragon, just because they want kills, it is annoying, and I try to stop it by pinging.

Don't compare yourself to others in your game. I looked at your cs a min on op.gg. Yes, junglers are usually lower, but your average is really low. And just like how you have occasional hard feeding games, others do too. Sometimes you get people like that in your games.

Who told you that nonsense? Depending on who i'm playing and how the game goes, I'm generally the 3rd highest CS as jungle. Greed is good.

Didn't seem like you were feeding often when I looked.

If you want people to follow up on objectives you have to be pinging them from the start of the game. If you do this, they'll fall in line by the time you get a baron opportunity.

with out watching what you are doing its hard to say...

people saying playing supports or tanks makes it harder to carry on and climb... because you are so team reliant on winning and cant hard carry with these type of champs...

but it can be cuz you are bronze and you havent yet learned all the skills and things you need to know to not be bronze

but like mecha malphite stated its hard to tell ...

just a quick look at your op.gg page of your last few games, items, builds, runes and masteries some of your builds are ok. cs needs to be better. im not a huge fan of your runes or masteries... i think they could be optimized

but mainly... find some streamers who play champs/roles you wanna play... learn from them, ( however what works in high elo isnt always the same in lower ) it be best to start with the fundamentals of the games , csing, positioning, map awareness, rotations... playing to win conditions of your team/champs so on...

but sometimes when you have an adc who does no damage... and youre a tank... and they go 3/16/9 and is 2nd lowest damage dealt in game out of 10 players there is something you just cant help... but as a jungler what could you have done to help that adc? maybe gank more? babysit him? peel better? etc ward better? none of us play perfect... its hard to see our own mistakes with out someone else looking at them... so maybe take a moment to reflect on your games and what you did well and bad and try to think what could you do better?

and sometimes you just face better people who played better that game... give some credit to them... not alot but some

YOUGOTKILLEDBRO

Would you have any recomended ideas for runes or masteries? I really want to make those better. I am going to start buying more runes now that I have unlocked nearly all the champs in the game.

well what i would do ... is look at op.gg for the most common and highest win % runes/masteries for champs

and look at champion.gg as well ...

compare them... copy what you think is ideal... build the items that have the highest win % with a mind to what you are facing in game and what you need to build to win

on zac, 30% cdr at level 18. Magic pen reds, armor yellows.

jungle pathing is SUPER MEGA INPORTANT or else u will fall behind ever so quickly in exp.

Gank when ur camps are down or look to take objectives like drag, baron, scuttle in ur free time.

Unless ur 100% sure it's gonna work dont invade lol it's a bad idea especially if ur in bronze 5

  1. Farm more and push out lanes whenever its convenient. Your gold totals are terrible and you seem to generally be under leveled. When you gank, tax that shit. Tax it hard. Its the only way you can keep up with the lanes on xp since the jungle got fucked and especially if you'll be ganking a decent amount because that means you're going to get counter jungled.
  2. Speaking of counter jungling...Do it. When your lanes are pushed, you should be all over the enemy jungler's camps. Starve him out of the game. Randomly roll in with your laners to get a 2v1 on an unsuspecting fiddlesticks. Then after you spam taunt on his corpse, steal his shit.
3)Drop pinks in the enemy jungle. This will tell you when you can steal more of his shit on the other side of the map and gives your laner a heads up that the enemy jg is there.
  3. Know which lanes are wastes of time if you try to gank them and ignore them. Focus on another lane, take that turret, and bring your posse (the laner you just freed from lane) to the otherwise ungankable lane.
  4. Build liandrys on zac. Think of Liandrys as the AP tank's black cleaver. For runes take 30% cdr at 18 and some armor. More cdr = faster clear = more money and more map presence. Build tabi instead of ionian boots. Tabi are just too good not to build on a tank. A nice starting build order is cinderhulk->tabi->cowl->liandrys. Liandrys early or you won't be able to defend your jungle and people are going to shit the bed following up on your ganks so its left to you to do all the work and have a little DPS.
  5. tell your bot and mid laners before the game starts that if you gank for them and drag is up, they better not recall after the gank unless they're about to die. Take those drakes. Laners love ocean, carries love infernals, but mountains and wind drakes are GOLD. Wind drakes let you get to lanes faster to influence fights, fly around the map pushing out lanes your team forgot to get pushing, get to the enemy jungle to steal more of his shit if you see him elsewhere on the map. Wind drakes basically let you do the work of 1.5 people on the map.
  6. Try to give your top laner rift herald. This has two functions: 1) it will generally shut up just about any top laner for the remainder of lane phase so you won't feel compelled to spend time there if you can't get something out of it and 2) will give your laner a significant advantage in lane that will often carry over into better cs, more kills, less deaths etc. Giving your top laner rift basically is the equivalent of you camping his lane if he knows what to do with it or is on a champ that makes use of it well.
8)remind your team to upgrade their trinkets
  7. if your team is pinging baron and your gut is telling you its a fucked idea. Ping them off it, drop a ward, and walk away. You have the smite.
  8. if your top laner is playing a tank, you don't have to. Learn graves.
  9. If you have a laner feeding and they're flaming you for ganks tell them to hug their turret and avoid dying so much so that you can focus on lanes that are in a better position to do well. Promptly mute that person after you tell them that.
  10. actually just mute everyone, you're better off. They can read what you type. Thats all that matters.
  11. never surrender a bronze game. The throws are real.
  12. Find a solid duo partner. Make sure that duo partner does not die a lot. They don't ahve to be good, they just have to not feed.
  13. Ping turrets. You'd be surprised how many people don't even think to put damage on a turret until you ping it. Seriously, I've seen people dive and die to a 5 hp turret.

Annnd I think thats a solid start. Enjoy.
