Well it is actually the best place to have trolls and smurfs. You are anyway on 0lp and have lp protected.

No not really. You still lose the LP. You just go into the negative and if you drop will be subtracted from 100 in the lower rank.

Promos is more of a barrier from you going up then the LP "loss prevention" is for you to go down.

Its stupid that the only place you have TRUE Ladder is in challenger. ALL other ranks are a system that is BUILD to slow you down.

You have to be really unlucky to lose like 5 ? 6 ? games in a row after promotion to get demoted. Imho it is still better to lose 0 lp than win and lose actual lp. I'd rather lose 3 games and then win 3 games than vice versa.
