Urgot needs a rework

Urgot, possible one of the least played champions in League of Legends- which is sad considering he has some pretty sweet ideas in his champion character and is a fairly fun champ to wield on the Fileds of Justice, minus his overall weakness. Urgot is a champion who was kind of left in the dust; he has no strong presence in the game. I cant remember the last time I saw an Urgot. And its not just Urgot in this lonely world, never to be picked by summoners. He is joined by some other champs, that Riot just didn't quite hit that golden spot in balancing them and fitting each champ into an ideal role. To name a few, Yorick is sort of strong but just doesn't fit in all that well, being one of the least played champs as well. Poppy, the tough little yordle, has become far from the strong champion she once was way beack in Season 2. There are many more examples of champions who have been left on the side of League of Legends road to glory, gathering cobwebs in a forgotten corner. Riot, please resurrect these champs! Instead of seeing the staple picks like Elise in the Jungle or Riven top lane, shake it up! Make an attempt to balance out the champions, so we dont see dear old Riven every game!

Figured I'd take an opportunity here and just kind of say something, and don't take this as fact just some possible thoughts of the workings behind the scenes of new champions, skins, etc.

If riot is doing a rework, it's probably not going to be coming for a very, very long time for the very reason of "he's the least played champion." Sion got a rework because people played him, Gangplank got a rework because people played him, Ashe got her much deserved rework because people played her.

I see many complaints of "oh this champion is OP, he sucks, nerf, buff!!!!!" that it honestly doesn't say much about a champion. Let's take, for example, Riven and Yasuo who are the current OP champs. I hear people wanting them to be nerfed to the ground, why? Because they don't know how to play against her. I've seen dozens of both, and in those matches I've seen fed versions as well as those who fed. Anyway, earlier this year Riven got a new skin, why? Because for several months she was and is again a premier top lane pick

Riot is a company that wants to make money, it would be in their best interests for them to give skins and such to played champions, not ones like Yorick or Swain who are left in the dustbin to rot, being picked up once in a while by players who want to give them some love. Personally, I'd love to see the guy get an update myself, but if I queue up with him, I feel like I'm being hated on by my team even if I were to go 13-4 with first blood. He's a fun champion and people shouldn't be afraid to take him out onto the fields, but first we need to set aside the collective dislike of him first.

So those are my thoughts on the matter which is why I tend to encourage people to play these random picks as well as getting them in ARAM.

Honestly... No, he doesn't. The two reasons why champions (Poppy, Yorick, etc.) get major reworks are that they are broken (AKA too strong when good, too weak when not OP; this is where Poppy/Yorick go) or that they have a conflicting or nonexistent identity (rarer, champions like Sion and Shen). Urgot has neither of these problems. He's not really in a bad spot right now (just a little outclassed by the hypercarries, but so are Lucian and Quinn and Caitlyn), he can be good without being OP, and he has an identity as the tanky ADC. Just having a low pick rate isn't a reason to rework a champion.

I think I remember them saying he was gonna get a Sion style relaunch. They can't really give him any significant buffs though because his kit itself is overpowered so his number have to be shit for our own safety before he eventually does get reworked. Same situation with Yorick.

In my opinion Urgot is great, I take him midlane and enjoy it, I hope they don't rework him or, if they do it at one point, I hope they'll keep the cleaver/tear sinergy, the E*Q combo(or something similar to that) and his tankiness
