How do you not push lane as support fiddles?
I had a game where my adc kept complaining about me throwing my berd and it pushed the lane somehow even tho I waited for enemy karma to throw her empowered q at casters before I threw mine.

I think they prioritize champs that haven't been hit once yet.
They prioritize anything that hasnt been hit yet. Ideally you want to use it when the marksman and support are within bounce range though - if you have a harass-ee marksman and they have a guardian support, you can really do some work.
