We are finally posed to get a new /remake feature to deal with early game afks & disconnects...

...and it conveniently arrives when the game is in a state where it will make playing in premades even more advantageous.

All you have to do is get one of your solo players to bail. Then your premade can /reform and get out of the game scott-free.

Where does this end? Why is Riot alienating solo players?

Someone didn't read what it does.

Premades suffer the same penalties

Also it has to be before the first kill. How long are you expecting the game to go without a kill?

The system is for people that never connected, not people that randomly DC

This system shouldn't affect any leaving that happens after the game has started. Has to be someone that simply failed to connect between champ select and the loading screen. If a premade decides to go for it anyway when one of their members fails to connect, then how is this situation any different from now? If they're insisting on playing to avoid the guaranteed loss from /remake, don't you think they'll at least attempt to change that outcome and win?

The remake system only makes a difference if the remake actually happens. Any scenario where a premade (or solo players) refuse to remake already occurs with the current system.
