Tips for Twisted Fate

(I really wish I didn't have to ask these questions as often as I do...)

Alright, I know straight up that TF ain't an easy champ to play. Which is why instead of playing a bunch of games as him, winning 2 out of 5 of them, feeling a deep seated sense of irritation at my inability to play this champion, and then slinking back here for advice, I'm going to skip past all of that and straight up ask advice.

I think my main problem with TF is that I'm used to playing

A) melee champs like Ekko or Fizz mid lane and B) Champs with a bit more mobility.

And of course, with me being me, I tend to not know when it is best to use his ult.

So yeah, if anyone has any advice for TF, that'd be all kinds of awesome. Thanks in advance and all that.

First and foremost, get used to his cards. When you panic and just press W twice you sometimes get lucky, but if you can get used to how long the cards pop up you can wait that extra .5 secs and secure that kill/escape. Always understand that if your playing lichbane reliant, your AA distance is just outta flashrange for most champs so try and abuse that, bait them into wasting that flash, slap a gold card on em and get that damage in. As far as his Ult I would definitely suggest map awareness, if you know bot is about to get ganked then push your wave and tele on down ping when you realize the gank is gonna happen so your botlane knows they have a chance to fight it. Also pay attention to your jungler, if they get in a fight in your own jungle pop R, see where the enemy is trying to run to and then go cut him off. Also do not rely on your W for pure mana sustain, early game it can definitely help to last hit a few mins with blue card but you do not get enough back to just keep spamming it on minions. Definitely learn to last hit with no bonuses in order to maintain that extra little bit of income (at the end of the match it will never be very much) but hey it can get you to your full build just a tiny bit quicker). Also understand that while you can definitely do damage and push waves, your not really going to be doing a lot of outplays on more mobile mids..
