Grievous wounds is too powerful but also so much needed.
Hello everyone, let's talk about Grievous wounds :

If you lose vs him, you can't do a single thing. In a game i played, there was a 13/0 Aatrox and he was unstoppable. We was not on a bad situation because we was winning bot and mid but we wasn't feed like this Aatrox.
Guess what ? I buyed 
(i was the adc), i told my jungler rammus to buy 
, my ap mid laner to buy 
and the top laner to buy a grievous item since he was the biggest problem on ennemy team. Also my support kept his ignite for Aatrox.
Aatrox was useless. One item completely ruined his kit, even tought he was feed.
I was laughing, one item and you kill a champion because without healing, aatrox can't tank.
But without grievous wounds, we couldn't had won. He was too strong and his regen was so much powerful.

Before lvl 9, it's not too bad but after and with some items, Vladimir become a nightmare. This Regen is so annoying and painful.
Guess what ? You go grievous wounds because otherwise you can't win vs him.
And Vladimir is almost useless. Thanks, he still has his dmg but his healing is gone and he is no longer powerful. He is destroyed and send to the cimetery.

Win vs Soraka without buying grievous wounds is almost impossible.
Guess what ? When you buy it, she become useless, the ennemy team is playing 5 vs 4 because without her powerful healing, she isn't a champ. Grievous wounds kill her so hard.

Fiora is building on lifesteal and regen... What are you going to do ? Buy Grievous wounds !
Now, Fiora is weak, squishy, can't regen anymore and die in less than 2s because her kit is based on lifesteal and without it, she is useless.

How to get trought this annoying passive ? Grievous wounds for sure !
No passive anymore for Volibear, so he plays with 4 spells, which is isn't bad compared to the other who become useless.

Now, mundo is squishy, can't tank properly and is useless.

Now let's talk serious :
Why grievous wounds has to be the solution to everything who have an annoying healing and regen ? Making champions useless because you remove their power is completely broken.
Aatrox make everything to play good, try to win but he can't carry because an item make him useless. Soraka try to save her adc, her mates but she can't because an item make her useless.
Grievous wounds is needed because you can't win without this vs these champs but in a other hand, it's too powerful. It's ruin the champion because without his regen, he is weak.
Nerf grievous wounds a little bit. It's too much powerful. Making champs useless because you buy these items is not a balanced thing. Winning your lane and getting destroyed because your opponent buyed grivous wounds is not a balanced thing.
These champions need their healing and their regen to work, otherwise they are useless.
But also, we need to keep grievous wounds items because they would be too much powerful.
Also you can increase Aatrox healing but nerf his dmg. Increase Soraka healing but nerf her others spells. Increase Vladimir healing but nerf his dmg, Increase Mundo regen but nerf his dmg...
So they would be less fustrating to play vs and they wouldn't be useless just because of grievous wounds. It's would reduce a little bit their regen but not making them useless.
