Remember back on boards when all of you begged for nerfs to Lulu, Soraka, Orianna, Ziggs, and every other utility/poke mid because they either countered assassins or had enough strength to be viable picks against assassins? Well here we are. Don't complain when assassins with overloaded mobility and burst damage are shitting on you because "assassin meta is fun, mage mid meta was boooooooooooring". Being 0/0/0 aginst Lulu is so much better than being 0/4/0 against Zed.

I never asked for this. Hell, I've been asking for Zed/LB/Fizz nerfs for months, but Riot is living in a completely different reality than I am and obviously I have no idea what I'm talking about! :D

Mages just aren't worth using anymore. The sweeping mana nerf with 0 compensation was completely uncalled for.

Oh I didn't play all that much back in season 1 and I didn't pay attention to metas and such since I just started, :P

So I guess the cycle is complete, next season aoe mages reign supreme.

People complained a lot about metagolem so I put that as S2.

Annie can be classified as a utility mage because of her stun, it's largely why she works as a support coupled with high base stats. Lux obviously is. Malzahar is not a utility mage as such was a poor example to use when I could have easily listed Lulu who is also seeing a rise in the midlane (again). Clearly you are upset so have a downvote friend.

9/10 of my games has 4+ assassin bans. Luckily DFG is going away and that should help balance it some. Zed will still be op though.

Longer cooldown than their ults. It's good for one teamfight, and then they sh*t on you while it's on cooldown. Also, lots of teams have more than 1 assassin.

Assassins weren't a problem when you had utility/poke mids which could shove the wave into their faces, cockblock their all ins with heals/slows/shields, or

Riot nerfed support champions out of mid because they made it harder to play assassins, and assassins are what move the needle for Rito.
