Does an AOE attack make you lose all stacks of Press on Attack?

If not all, will it still make you lose stacks even if you hit the primary target?

Good question but i doubt it for example jinx rockets Jinx still target one target and just do AOE damage, but they still have the same target. so i think no you wont lose the stacks but i cant be 100% sure [sg-ahri-2]

I imagine if you hit multiple champions at once, they will all gains stacks at once.

Lol that sounds super bad. I imagine it's just that it focuses the main target. So if you Jinx rocket A and B + C get hit the stacks will just be on A.

I'd assume it would work like Vayne with Runaan's (not that anyone builds that on her) in that the Silver Bolt stacks only apply to the main target, not the side targets even though they are technically being hit. Go into Practice tool and you can see that the bolts stack on whatever target you right click, even if the others are being hit as well.

Tested it out myself. Its just fervor with infinite stacking. Unless there is a bug, you can stack up to infinity. To add, it falls off slowly, more slowly than Jax passive.

so can you deal dmg to another target by using an ability?

I didn't pay attention to that to be honest, but since it scales with AP I would like to say yes.

Unless you mean can you switch targets. Then yes. It gives flat stats and the target isn't specific.

nice

Double checked it, seems to only work with AAs. Kinda dumb if you ask me.

why? this is what i wanted to know. It wouldn't have been nice if darius auto attacked someone, got his stacks, then q-ed and lose them because he hit other targets

I found it strange for it to give AP, yet most AP champs do not auto attack. The infinite stacking still seems to prefer AD over AP still. It would be nice if the likes of Cassiopeia and other such dps mages could have a form of super scaling. Secondly, it seems you can still change targets, it doesn't have to be built solely on one. IF you build it up on a tank, it will continue to build up on anyone else.

yea but you lose stacks (that's what they said)

TwinkiePro1 votes

It's likely a bug, but currently you do not.

uh, that's good i guess cause i main illaoi, so stacking it from the spirit and then shotting somebody else feels nice
