Holy shit does arurf get annoying. I had so much fun in normal urf, getting to pick my own champions, banning my personal worst enemy champion and getting destroyed by people playing whoever they wanted. Only a few champions (Ekko, Fizz, Ryze and a few more) were actually unplayable against. Now this Arurf version forcing me to play whatever nonsense they throw at me (especially because you dont get two rerolls every round) and then having to go against ryze, yi and Kassadin on the same team just isn't fun. What were the rules for regular urf being a succes again? That people didn't like it so regular 5v5 would seem like a dream? Congrats, then you did the right job Riot because Arurf is giving me a burnout and a slap on the face every time I think 'Hmm maybe a game of Urf will be fun.'

Why would you release such an anti-fun version of a game that is supposed to be fun once it comes around? I have waited for urf just to realize that Arurf is it's evil counterpart once again. Just give us back urf, we both know it was a succes when it happened and boohoo if it made queue times 10 sec longer for 2 weeks out of the year. You are a company but shouldn't the fun rotating modes be fun? I am sure 2 out of 10 people in Arurf have fun every game, what a joke.

I absolutely agree with you. If everything is broken, nothing is broken. That's what makes regular urf so fun. Everyone just oneshotting everyone. I don't really have fun being forced to play gangplank lmao

many people prefer ARURF to normal, so riot releases both modes.

Regular URF was worse because people WOULD pick Master Yi, Fizz, Ryze, Kassadin, Warwick, Yuumi, and more in every single game they played. If you were there for fun, LOL NOPE, because you were going to get massacred by all the people "playing whoever they wanted." The game then became "Play one of these 12 champions or lose the game." No one wants to lose, even in for-fun game modes, and no one especially wants to lose by being utterly crushed and dominated by some of the most abusable URF champs.

What makes URF, and even ARURF, especially worse is that people are like "lol, it's just for fun," so they don't give a shit about your team being pounded like a hooker at a biker convention going 10 to 40, and they refuse to surrender even if you have AFKs. It's a toxic game mode, and gets even worse when the enemy team dicks around and won't end.
