This is the first time in 7 seasons that I've actually felt worthless
Unless I get first blood playing a hyper damage champion that built straight damage.

You are too focused on carrying then. You can make impacts in other ways.
Spoken from a support main who is now "playing" tank top constantly losing in cs but winning teamfights.
You mean secondary support or cc bot? Because tanks don't really exist anymore.
I mean tank.
I have played tanks in the past, tank support, juggernaut. And i feel like right now I am the tankiest. It is probably Galio and Maokai being strong, but even if I die i at least feel like i am in the fiht for a long time enabling things. Previously when i tried to tank i defi itely felt like i died much faster.
Oh I'm sorry that I forgot to look up your rank before I responded. In silver tanks exist because enemies don't know how to build pen. You don't need cs to win because everyone is bad at csing, and one kill isn't gg I lost lane because players don't know how to freeze lanes properly... carry on.
You may be correct. I dont know your rank.
But i also see tanks play in lcs. If they were obsolete i cant imagine every team picking 1 or 2 or 3.

You don't have to be a hyper damage champ to win the game. Like MysterQ said, you can make great contributions by being a tank.
Wow can you be more condescending though? Your opinion is still worthy of consideration even though I'm diamond 5 and you're plat 4. You were diamond last season, so act like the top 2% of the league community and show some respect. Tanks are still strong even in higher ELO... Have you ever seen a cho gath get fed and come barreling at you with righteous glory and over 5k hp? Even with penetration items on enemy carries he's still extremely strong.
The tanks that are played in LCS include Cho Gath, Maokai, Shen, Sejuani, Gragas, Alistar, Renekton, Galieo, Kled, Tahm Kench, and Zac. Tanks usually have CC, since that's their main contribution to a fight instead of sheer damage. Some champs like J4 can build tank items and do respectable damage as well.
I've played a lot of mundo jung recently on my smurf and I absolutely take over games when I become unkillable.
cc bot
What do you think tanks are, exactly?
Someone that can wade into a fight, soak up damage and get back out. When is the last time you saw a mundo actually be able to do that? Mundo by kit design is a soak tank. But he dies pretty fast while doing very little.

This seems to be a popular opinion on the boards. . . That Mundo and champions like him are actually tanks. Just to let you know, they are not tanks.
A tank is defined by it's ability to control the crowd, to actually displace, stun, or snare an enemy for a long enough duration to allow a teammate to interact with it. Juggernauts use their abilities to stay on a target long enough to do damage, not to make others on their team do the damage for them. They do not lockdown targets or control the flow of a battle (or attempt to), they respond to what is closest to them and do as much damage as they can. In order for them to do that they have to have enough health to survive being in melee range, hence they end up soaking w it's a bit of damage, but that is not their purpose in a battle. They are not just there to eat all the damage and allow their teammates to kill the targets.
Please stop perpetuating this idea of tanks that are not tanks. Thanks.

You literally just defined a support. I guess that means Morganna, sona, nami, lulu, janna, are tanks?
CC bots are SUPPORT, not tanks.

No.
Tanks are designed to either engage or peel with their CC AND soak for their team.
Examples of tanks include:
Alistar, Taric, Blitzcrank, Shen, Nautilus, Maokai, Sejuani, and so on. You notice the trend that they all have CC used to help their team line up abilities, AND are tanky and front line with large health pools and defensive steroids.
Juggernauts are the most misunderstood class, perpetuated by the boards as tanks when they simply are not that role, and should not be thought of as such. They are designed to do damage and follow up engages, not designed for engaging in teamfights situations or for peeling for teammates. More games are lost because of this misunderstanding than most anything else.
In short:
Tanks are designed to engage AND soak damage, juggernauts are designed to DO damage and soak because they cannot avoid damage. It is a different purpose for their damage soaking, not to help the team but because they cannot avoid a lot of the damage.
Tanks are designed to engage AND soak damage,
Woah, you just changed your definition,so which definition is it?

I never changed my definition, it should have been obvious that a tank would CC and soak. All tanks are melee, because otherwise they would be ranged, and thus not tanking by not being in melee range, and then they would be supports. I dunno, it looks like you are trying to deflect a conversation in which you identify you are the incorrect party. Regardless, I am done, I have said what needed to be said already. Choose to believe what you will if you like, it will not make it correct, but if it helps you sleep then go for it.
^This guy gets it. Carrying=/=Dealing Damage. CC=/=support.
