Can we change Hec's E so people can't blink out of it?

One of the most frustrating things about Hecarim's E is that champions can blink out of it DURING the knock-back. After they blink, they are knocked FURTHER in the direction of their choosing, making it hard to gank people with blinks or flashes up. Can Hecarim's E, devastating charge, be changed to be more like alistar headbutt or, even better, Poppy's E, heroic charge? I am not saying make Hec's E INTO those abilities, but make it so that like those abilities, they can't be blinked out of.

Blink abilities can be used this way for literally anything. Since there's only one true blink ability outside of flash and is actually part of the champion's design, it's fairly balanced.

Just for reference, ezreal can e: the damage of vi ult (only one i actually think is a bug, but k), blitz pull (.25 second stun), thresh hook while thresh is flying (.25 second stun), literally anything else that can cc him if cast within the .5 second window including ashe arrow while stunned, etc, but he can also do anything else in any of these instances too, including an uninterruptable ultimate so again, champion design ( aside from, mos tlikely, the vi ult damage avoidance)

This I am fine with. What I am getting at, is that if you blink mid Hec E, you first blink in the direction you want to go, and then you get pushed by the knock-back allowing you to increase the distance between you and Hec. Other player based knock-backs are NOT like this.

I'm fine with either this, or make hecarim land wherever his target lands. Like when they don't blink hecarim charges on the target and lands with then knocked back, so why not. I think it should not do anything until hecarim makes contact and then do the knockback before they can blink. So either they blink first and hecarim still has the movespeed to chase and knockback (possibly not enough time left to choose direction though), or they don't blink first and hecarim knocks back then they blink in their preferred direction.

Basically this. This is not how it currently functions though, making Hec a sad pony.

That seems more troublesome, yes. Which champion abilities do you notice this interaction with? That's a detail Riot needs if you want it fixed quickly. Blinks are technically defined as flash and ez e

It happens with all blinks. Flash, Ezreal E, Kass Ult, Shaco Q, etc. If they use their blinks mid E, they will first travel in their chosen direction, and then be pushed even further by the delayed knock-back. This effectively increases their blink distance, ensuring their escape. Again, this does not happen with Poppy charge, or alistar headbutt which are both player based knock-backs. Just like Hecarim.

if your e connects before they blink, they'll get knocked back in the original direction after they blink, even if they blink to your other side. and if they blink before your e connects, then just path around them with your 600 ms and knock them back anyways

the situation you described is rarely an issue if you're managing your e properly
