Why Can't I Dodge Games (Especially in ranked)

I pretty sure we have all had games were someone would say, "if I don't get [role] I'll feed." After seeing that I would leave the game and queue up for another one, but I can't do that in ranked. If my team has a horrible comp or if someone purposely plays against their champion's counter (Ex Assassin vs Swain (Swain's kit allows him to beat high mobility champs)) just to play the champ they want, I want to leave and avoid a 45min (because bronze silver and gold logic) game where no one will surrender when someone like Katarina can 1 v 5 my team after she got fed. If I leave the game it counts as a lose, I lose LP, I have to wait to queue up again since I dodged, and I'm not guaranteed to have a good team next time either. I've played games ranked games with comps that have no hard crowd control (or some disruption), no tanks, sometimes the support is a champ that can't even support (Ex. Talon)(early/mid game they even start to build into a carry), or no alternate forms of damage (Ex. full AD or AP comps). In these games people still think they are going to win, and if someone happens to get fed unless they are the mage or marksman there power will drop the longer the game progresses due to scaling and items. I love playing late game champs like Jinx, Vayne, Twitch, and Kog'Maw because the risks you take early game is well worth the reward late game. When I play champs like this against someone good early game (Ex. Draven), my support tells me "oh the person your playing can rekt him/her" or "that was a free kill you just wasted." I even had a game where I was playing Vayne with Leona as my support, and she kept trying to start all-in fights with people I can't hope to do anything against without help from the jungler. At one point I even said "I'm just going to ignore you when you jump into fight like that." Instead of stopping the Leona player just kept starting fights and feeding the enemy ADC; later she even had the audacity to say "are you blind, instead of standing there help me." Again I say "NO", but she still continued to do all-ins. Long story short we got snowballed by enemy ADC and lost. Things like this do happen and can't be avoided, but when I know before the match even starts that someone will act like this I NEED to dodge in order to save my LP and time (because lots of people don't surrender).

Please allow some kind of vote to either re-queue everyone in the lobby or kick the player cause the problem. Behavior like that is tolerated to a degree in normals, but in ranked its UNACCEPTABLE. In ranked player can be affect by the results of a match; I've met ton of good players in ranked placed in bronze or silver that deserve to be in gold or maybe even higher. For those of you that think I'm just going on a rant cause I'm angry here's one last example that should change you P.O.V. At the start of season 5 when I was doing my placement matches I was playing with a platinum player. He was playing as Tristana and I was playing as Thresh. Even though skill is a subjective topic, I knew for a fact that this guy had tons of it. He could kite, freeze lane, knew when to roam, get dragon, etc. He was basically the "captain" of the metric ton team that he was carrying. The win should have been in the bag, but our jungler and top laner started to flame him. I can't remember what started the argument, but they started to say that this guy had no skill at all. He had the most kills and the least number of deaths (Note: little to no peeling for him in fights) for both teams. Everytime he died jungler and top would make fun of him, eventually he got tired of it and didn't care whether or not we won or lost (we lost). If I can't win a match with a platinum player due to flamers its kinda depressing.

I know that I can't win every game and that's to be expected, but I want avoid the ones that I know for a fact I will lose. We can't do team builder for ranked since its about counters, but we can do something about the people that will hand us a loss. If you have any suggestions about how to solve this problem please make a discussion and raise some awareness about this problem. No one at Riot will make a move unless a good portion of the community is in some kind of agreement on how to fix this problem.

TLDR - no one reads a run-on paragraph like that. it signals <14 years old like nothing else can.

you can dodge any game you want, there is a slight (5min penalty for it).

Dude, it's -3 lp. That's basically a free dodge.

I skimmed over you're post...but heres what I think:

u cant dodge for free cuz ppl already do it alot, and starting games can take long (espically since ppl have to try their best to call their roles first multiple times.....and not always get it).....

if there was no penalty, then wayyy too many people would be dodging.....ranked already takes like 5 minutes to start. Don't focus too much on having a good/bad team comp, player skill matters much more than that.

If there is some dude threatening to feed and takes clarity in lobby cuz he didn't get is role then just ignore him and let the game start. Try your best as usually and if you guys lose, know this guy did deserved to lose. He can't troll like that all the time (or he'll be dropping in ladder instead of climbing it), if you want ppl to stop doing this then just ignore them....don't do them a favor and dodge queue.

Dodging doesn't really cost you anything, even in ranked. It doesn't change your MMR. So even if you lose 3 LP, you'll just gain a little more LP per win and lose a little less per loss until you're at the same place you were had you not dodged. I.e. dodging is free.

Otherwise, just try to make the best you can with your teammates.
