Assuming adcs build one defensive item late game, would work better with gargoyle plate instead of ga. She's a duelist adc which focuses on melting tanks. You can only do so much damage to Vayne before your rotation goes off cooldown. Even if her damage is reduced by the active effect, if she goes with the on-hit build path you're looking at a 3k+ hp adc chunking 33% of anyone's hp in a second or less. + gargoyle plate. Can anyone confirm if this is viable or not?

You have to have 6 stacks of rageblade first and you absolutely can't switch targets. That is a lot of conditions for someone like Vayne who is always going to be targeted by multiple people. I'd probably go GA if you want a defensive item (and not build rageblade, but for the purpose of your build I get why it is there.)

I was reading the patch notes and had a similar idea. Anyone with more than 40 armor, before buying stoneplate, duels better with the stoneplate and active than without. True damage reduces this armor requirement further. From my calculations you can expect the to melt their %hp at about 25% faster relative to your %hp losses.
