Bounties and Dominion

So, the new bounty system is kind of weird. Let's say you go 5-0, gaining 500 gold (100 per kill). Let's say you're killed once. You give up 100 gold + 450 global gold. You're now 5-1, having gained 500 gold and given the enemy team 550 gold. You get killed again, giving up 100 gold + 150 gold. You've gained 500 gold and given the enemy team 800 gold by going 5-2.

Am I missing something? If so, correct me and I'll adjust. If it really works like this then that's problematic.

Three bounty tier are lost when dying, so second death should be at tier 2 bounty right?

Are you sure bounties are not being reduced on Dominion? I naturally assumed they were since kill gold is reduced, but I never checked. If not this is another oversight.

I got 2 kills in a row (2-0). Then the enemy killed me and got 150 shutdown gold + 100 base gold for the kill. 250 gold for their team versus 200 gold for my team (2-1). Thoughts?

It serves as another anti-snowball release valve and supplying both teams (more or less) with more gold helps to make up for the increased item prices. Having priority enemy champions as a secondary objective seems like a decent idea to me. Is it the BEST system? Maybe not. But it seems to be working and I've seen even more close games and come-backs than usual. One sided stomps aren't that much fun.

The only potential issue is that it makes late game monsters like Jax a little more monster-y. But if Riot were willing to give us Blind Draft in place of Blind and Draft queues we could take care of that ourselves.
