Am I the only one who actually likes the new jungle item change?

Here are a few of the reasons I like this change:

  1. 20% cd was too restricting. I had to buy that, along with 5% mastery and I then had to make a decision between ionian or a 10% cd item.

  2. New item helps junglers who relied on mana to clear, giving them a means to replenish their mana, whilst giving them something to do when their cd is long. Since sheen proc can be held on to for about 10 sec before it expires, it's pretty much up to the user to time it so they can take full advantage of it.

  3. It isn't as appealing to laners. If midlaners did not suffer from mana deficiency this season, they would have most likely been buying Magus simply because of the lower cost and the ability to create your summoner spell (smite).

  4. Encourages different champions to use the same item in different patterns. Someone like Fiddlesticks would use it as a filer move before his drain comes off cooldown (since the sheen proc can be held for 10 seconds). So he could fear the enemy, auto, drain when fear is over, and use the sheen proc that resulted from drain when drain is over. Meanwhile someone like Karthus, Evelynn can frequently use it with their 1 second cd (AA - Q - AA - Q - AA) etc for faster clear.

Although I do understand the worries about the slightly lesser AP. Maybe if there was a stacking AP mechanic based on monsters killed that increases the AP of the item from 40 to 60, it could look more attractive.

It certainly sounds awesome. I may try something really stupid with it. I mean i have successfully done jungle Soraka , now it may actually be viable for me. And I'm actually thinking about getting AP Alistar back out, screw cinderhulk.
