Im a support main. I just finished my last placement games.

3/7. WHY? NOBODY FOLLOWS UP THE ENGAGE. I get a perfect engage on the enemy team and my team scatters to the winds.

miracle hook to win the game pulling the enemy adc under tower? No one engages to kill them

Perfect save on the low hp allied carry? They dive right back in.

WHY DO SUPPORT ALWAYS HAVE TO GET PUNISHED IN THIS GAME. Seriously. I play . I can make plays for days on these guys. just ask my normal dynamic partner. Normal games i win like mad. But ranked it is like Riot saved all the morons just for my placements.

God, why must i be cursed to elo hell. Now i have to climb my ass out of bronze from the lowest of the low points,, and look like a total scrub lord for no reason.

It's a side effect of the meta in general terms. The game can end in one team fight post 20 minutes, so even that sick 5 man sejuani ult from out of nowhere can be left in the dust if one person doesn't want to commit.

Side note, this season placements mean almost nothing is what im seeing. You'll be place a tier or 2 lower than last season regardless of placement achievements.

Normals and Ranked have very different skill levels.

You face tougher opponents in ranked than you do in normal games.

Good news for you though. Support is a carry position. I know it can be frustrating when you make that great hook and no one follows up but if you keep landing those you will see the follow up. Eventually you will climb from the pits of Bronze 5 and more and more people will start to follow your support plays. You will eventually level out t where you belong and will be forced to look at yourself to raise your ceiling.

Be positive. Calling your team bad or "yelling" at them in game does nothing but give them anxiety and play worse. They aren't trying to be bad on purpose and all they want is to win just as bad as you. Be constructive or don't say anything. Put your head down and go to work.

I supported from B5 to G3. Working my way back to Gold currently. I have been there bro.....

She is a midlaner for me. I dont know why it shows her as support.
