Has a tower ever saved you from Akali?

I think the better question is, has a Tower ever saved anyone? Lol

I was thinking this same thing when I saw the boards last night. xD

There's a difference between diving to execute and diving to poke. Old Akali did the former, new Akali will do both. Also immobilizing a diving champ under your tower usually saves you or kills them as well (laning phase). Immobilizing new Akali will just put her back into Stealth.

On paper I think it's a bad decision to let her do that, might work out differently when she hits live and how well she handles skillshots, aoe and cc

Shouldnt a rework like...make it so stupid shit like diving someone under tower solo and getting away with it scot free isn't a thing...? Is it not frustrating enough to deal with Zed or Talon nuking you under your tower?

Unless you goofed completely then yes, towers provides a great deal of safety.

So what if she can take all your health in 2 rotations? If she dies from 1 of yours+2 towershots then she wont dive.

But like for any assassin, if you as a mage miss your shit then you are easy to kill, even under tower.

Which is probably why i almost exclusively play and into any assassins i get x)

Would ask this for Irelia wich in my opinion is so much stronger then Akali for towerdiving.

Just because towers are weak doesn't mean they're useless. When you're in a losing matchup using the pressure towers have is very important. You notice it in matchups like Fizz or Vlad where they can ignore your tower in a dive. And Akali is better at ignoring towers than both of them while also being more mobile than both of them so its a bit absurd.

If she is under tower long enough to do multiple rotations, you probably should have just backed up from shroud :/

The moment she pops her smoke under tower you know you are gonna get raped as if it was in broad daylight.

(Kinda explains why she got more muscular, especially around the backside.)
