It's an absolutely perfect rune for supports. Combined with ruby sightstone, the cd on zzrot goes down to about 25 seconds. This means it's very easy to have two zzrots at once and constantly apply pressure as a support. I've been using this to my advantage and since the new runes dropped I have a 90% winrate on yorick support with this combo.
I have to disagree. Played Yorick top, I'm a rather decent Yorick player.
A Yasuo completely zoned me, and 0-7'd me without ever getting any ganks.

i actaully agree with this. i play kalsita, so having wards and my cutless + qss actives up are super important like by the time i used my blade/cutless active, i almost have it ready by the time i return back to lane
its great in top lane aswell. especially in combination with zombie ward.
if you get 1 or 2 good roams off, your vision trinket will go on a decently low cooldown. zombie ward effectively extends the duration on your wards. i had a couple games where i had vision on every entry into top lane and made it extremely hard for the enemy jungler to try and gank me. which allowed me to press my advantage.
the amount of vision you get is incredibly useful when youre split pushing.
