ive banned jayce to have fun.

and now renek is super popular and i cant seem to have fun EVER.

there is no way to outplay this guy.

i need someone on the balance team to take an iq test NOW.

why is this guy SO FUCKING HARD TO LANE AGAINST.

i baited out his stun and his e but he still outdamages and outsustains my ass.

i was down 500 gold by 25 minutes where the morons say "renek falls off" and he instantly blows my ass off with his REALLY skilled combo of the w e q and before i cna react im dead.

i rushed ninja tabis and tried to farm as well as dodge his qs but the cd and healing on that shit makes no fucking sense.

even fiora has a more engaging laning phase than this shit.

atleast with fiora i can farm more than 3 creeps before rneek outplays me with his w combo.

Renek falls off too man. He's not definitely not the tank you want on your team late game.

Problem with Renek is that his damage SUCKS if he doesn't get his Fury bar up, its super unreliable out of lane. He has to intentionally charge it before joining a fight and its hard to time it. He's strong in lane (where he can bully and keep that bar up) but out of lane, he's super hit and miss.

Garen can always dive the backline in every team fight (and if he can't get to the backline, at least zone and create a front line). He doesn't need to charge some awkward bar before going in. Also, he has more innate tankiness because of his Courage W damage reduction; I feel he's better damage soak.

Renek needs his awkward bar charged up unless your playing him as a split pusher, but he doesn't have the scalings to split push against a lot of top laners because they scale better 1 vs 1.

I dont know if his abilities apart from his dash count as empowered autos? if they do, get jax. He's pretty cheap at 1350 Ip and has an ability that will negate all incoming autos for something like 2 seconds and afterwards stun all enemies in an area. I know it blocks GP's Q, so why not renekton's stun slaps?

edit: it negates all damage from renekton's stun slap, but you will still be stunned. Your dodge also reduces his W and E damage by 25% as they're considered AOE attacks.

renek will dumpster jax to a different dimension.

this renek was garbage.

he wasted his q multiple times but since it HEALS him as well he doesnt lose anything when he can always choose when the fight starts much less when it ends with his e.

He's designed to be a bully. He falls off hard late game, though, so you play against him for late game... that's the way it goes.

I think the balance team's IQ is fine.

games are always decided by 20 minutes now.

this is why bullshit like pantheon and renekton top are so popular in high elo becuase why play for late game when u can put the enemy top so behind they cant even make it to end game?

Renekton has a sub-50% win rate in plat+. You can't have it both ways. Either renek is broken in gold 5, and high elo has no value in a discussion at gold 5, or he's fine because he's balanced at high elo.

Panth is an entirely different issue. He's kinda busted, imo.

Yes, only morons say that Renekton falls off mid game. You are correct. Not to mention, he had a gold lead. Regardless of when a champ falls off, if they have a gold/item lead over you, the chances are in their favor. Renekton falls off late game, that time of game where everyone, even the supports, have 4-6 items. This does not happen at 25 minutes, unless one team was spoon fed by the entire enemy team, but at that point the game is over for the feeding team anyway.

Renekton _is a _ lane bully!

His goal is to cripple you so hard that you are useless for the first 20 mins, and his hope is that after that point the game ends before you regain your footing. Your goal is to survive the laning phase, and hope that you can hold out till he becomes less powerful than you.
