The nasus nerf

for those of you who DON'T PLAY NASUS, I'll explain why this was actually a real bad nerf. now i already know some of you maybe have the brass to say, "oh but it gives him arm and mr, how is that a nerf? OPOP"... but you clearly don't understand the mechanics behind nasus. the old ult give you ad based on % health drained while in r form, giving you a small boost to your damage and over-all fighter capability. as a decently fed nasus, you can solo dragon and duo baron with that ult. now its slowed down to a near standstill when fighting baron. there goes ALOT of pressure for nasus players. like, fuck you riot. you didnt even give nasus a knock-up when he ults.

It was a buff actually. And a sizeable one at that. And I laughed a lot reading this...

Because, you know what really takes brass? Saying something like that with these builds, runes and masteries.

Oh, and just because I know that the "Me Plat, You Gold, Me Better!!!" - Card is going to be pulled...This discussion is about Nasus. And focusing on this champion alone:

MY RESULTS WITH NASUS 66% winrate 4.41 KDA

YOUR RESULTS WITH NASUS 55% winrate 1.89 KDA

So before you claim that we don't know what we are talking about, maybe you should do some basic research into the "mechanics of Nasus". Because realizing that Resolve-Based Susan has a 10% improved winrate over Cunning-Based Susan, isn't exactly rocket science.

You clearly do not understand the change. He still does %max health damage per second and gets armor and magic resist but no bonus AD. The Bonus AD was hardly relevant in team fights and was only able to reach max potential during dragon and baron fights and that really made it's damage useless in the long run. This new change has made him the late game raid Boss he was meant to be. I've been playing Nasus a lot in Ranked and the new Ult is worlds better. I was skeptical at first too but honestly it is amazing on him. Also with ult and itemization you can easily hit over 300 armor and make thornmail a fantastic buy on him. I just had a game where I was down 0/1/3 and got a couple kills bought thornmail and in my ult form the enemy team would kill themselves on me.

My point is that you have not clearly seen the possibilities with his new Buff and should broaden your horizons a bit. Your builds are clearly reflective of that. TF is not a core buy on him IBG is. Also I will argue this any time but Storm Raider's is sub-optimal except in a favorable lane where the enemy team has little to no hard CC. 12/0/18 or 0/12/18 is optimal with Grasp. I also don't care that you are plat and I am gold your KDA is atrocious with Nasus and that means you clearly don't understand how to play the champion.

Not to mention the fact that even ignoring the impact this has on late game: The new Ult makes towerdives at the early-mid transition so much safer for the Doge.

Definitely one of the best changes for Susan in a long time, and will have a huge positive impact n overall winrates (For people who don't think Rylais is a core item on Nasus, at least ^^)

Wait Rylai's is core?! Damn and all this time I've been building wrong!!! LOL! I can confirm though after IBG and SV dives on him are super risky. You should try item 3075 on him now. It is an amazing 4th or 5th item on him now when he's in his ult. I just watched a whole team essentially kill themselves on me. Jax, Jhin, Jayce and Nocturne.

I was actually refering to the more than strange builds OP does on his Nasus games ^^

Yeah, item 3075 is great, however, I was actually refering to the Doge doing the diving against his lane opponent :D

please set a stack limit on nasus to create some counter play for bronze rank players he makes the game unplayable when he even remotely counters you he already has great sustain a stack limit at say 300 wouldent completely break the champ and would make countering him a little easier
