For all the talk about how you are supposed to "Outplay" percent true damage...

It feels like there really isnt any outplay allowed. Out of the various sources of %true damage, you have Vayne Silver bolts, in which one of the highest AS and most AS focused champs in the game only have to hit you three times to access it, not to mention her auto reset and incredible chasing. You have Fiora Vitals, in which her passive is alright if RNG doesn't choose to put them right in front of her, but when she presses R she gets free MS just for walking around in the zone, an unbeliveably short cd dash that can proc them, along with two very potent slows allowing her to hit the four with ease. And finally we have Garen Villain Mechanic, which is applied to a player for doing well. In which his damaging abilities and auto attacks do true damage to their target. (Note: Only the ult does full True, the rest just do 1% per tic of damage). Out of the three champs listed with this mechanic, really, the closest one who has outplay built in is Garen because he has no choice in his target, and as a Juggernaugt, no real way of getting to and sticking on his Villain. I just feel like whether you think the kits are balanced or not, Riot has failed in actually granting % True damage as a mechanic any real outplay. There is no skillshot, no long cds, and no real items that can help counterbalance it, short of the niche Frozen Heart for Vayne

TL;DR: % True Damge as a mechanic you are supposed to outplay is not really outplayable at all.

I guess you don't want to point out that these champions have poor or no AoE in teamfights.

Vayne is a short range hypercarry that is weak until later in the game and can be completely shut down with just one hard CC.

Fiora has to actually build a lot of damage to make her true damage be worth anything. She only has 2% naturally and would need to build nearly 200 bonus AD for her passive to deal 10% of health in true damage allowing her to deal 40% should she get all 4 sides in her ultimate while dodging and countering everything that comes her way. It is actually extremely hard to do in a teamfight.

Garen well his auto attacks are irrelevant and the spin is not exactly going to make or break a fight for him. Especially considering usually the villain will be a more damage oriented champion who should not be sitting by garen for the duration of his spin.

Just wanna point out that vayne has a false counter play. By design you would think rotating back and preventing her from getting 3 stacks would be the best course of action. Instead thats about the absolute worst thing to do. The only real counter to vayne is to dumpster her so fast with cc and focus fire that she becomes frustrating to play against and as. Other ADC can actually be ignored to some extent but I find that teams have to really over extend vs good vaynes to remove her from a fight fast enough to prevent her from killing the entire enemy team.
