The champion after this next champion better be a traditional mage

No assassin, no support, no markman, no tank, no juggernaut, no bruiser. i want a spellslinger. i want . There are 16 of what i would call traditional mages. there are currently 17 marksman, and the next champ is a marksman, so 18. mages are being left in the shadows now, with assassins being more popular mid. because juggernauts are coming out now, why not make a mage that can handle them? Besides morgana support, theres not many mages being played anymore (in solo queue at least)

There are 28 champions with mage as their primary role. I have no idea where you got 16. I do agree though that an immobile mage would be nice.

did you just type mage into the champ select thing? it includes secondary roles. plus i said TRADITIONAL. no assasins (ekko, lb, kassadin ahri), no marksman (azir) no support (karma soraka) no bruisers (swain) no tanks (gragas). i didnt even list all of them. what i want is a spellslinger. throws magic in your face and you die.

No. I went by primary role. This isn't rocket science.

Only Elise and Ahri are questionable, and even then you have 26 mages. Sorry, but you don't get to say that Swain, Karma, and Azir aren't mages. That's dumb. No one cares about your personal definition of the word.

I want an actual Gun-Mage that plays like Invoker from Dota. Instead of using spells he has Rune cast munitions that he can mix together to cause different effects or attacks.

A good place to start would be him/her having 3 skills, fire ice and wind. Combining 2 skills would allow really cool effects. However his/her ult would be the key that fires the spell (ergo he wouldn't have a typical ult at level 6) At level 6 he/she is allowed to mix the same elements and can put a buffer skill (think kha'zix evolution) point into an element that would increase it's own combination. So Fire and Fire would do more damage and cause a larger explosion.

I personally want a utility mage and I think kindred would have been perfect for that but nope let's make her a marksmen

You're excluding a lot of mages to only get 16.

As a class, mage primaries outnumber tanks, marksman, assassins, and supports. It's not like being selective is something you can't apply to tanks, marksman, assassins, or supports either - which makes being incredibly selective for traditional mages a moot point.

tanks, assassins, and supports in particular are hurting for solid representatives - I'd rather see one of those.
