Reminder of the ELO soft cap

For me right now, it's one win into Silver 4, then I get at least 2 tilted fucks on my team (according to their match history) every game until I am knocked to silver 5. This yo yo effect is as predictable as the sunrise at this point.

I was bronze 3-5 for almost a year, without buying RP. Then I spent maybe $50 and rose to bronze 1-2. Another $50 or so and I rose to silver. This climb took less than a month of over a year of playing. I promise you I did not improve that much.

What about smurfs? .. They buy RP to get started.

Anyone who doesn't spend much on RP is probably aware of this.

I noticed you usually go even or go negative by at least 4. Going even every game is not enough to climb, YOU have to win. You can't control others, so don't even try to. Focus on what you do and how you can win.

KDA is not a great reflection of what you contribute when you are a tank or engage champ on a team with no follow up, or if I'm playing jungle and it's 5v15 by the time I hit 6. The only thing experience has taught me I can do to consistently climb is buy RP. It is the only hard and fast rule that has been 100% consistent. Sorry to burst your bubble.

First game in silver 4 after 10th(ish) promotion:

Vayne feeds first blood at 3 minutes, and 6/12 mao rages at everyone the entire game.

Riot knows who is tilted, and they queue them with the people who don't buy RP as much as they think they should. League has a paywall.
