Get rid of it. I don't like getting a role I don't want. I don't like when it happens to someone on my team. I'd rather wait the extra two minutes.

No. It's stupid. If you want faster queue times queue as support and learn how to play it. If you want a "fun" one wait longer. I don't get how that is an issue. You get the role you want slightly faster at the expense of a troll ass bot lane.
ON TOP of that the time differential doesn't even account for the people who dodge because of getting a role they didn't queue for.
It's dumb. It's a game. It's not homework. I'll wait in the line.

It's BS. In philosophy and practice. Revert it.
As someone who usually plays mid/support, I am happy with autofill.
Last season I had to queu for mid/top if I wanted my actual primary choice, because when I did mid/support, I'd get support 99% of the time. Now it's about 60/40, which is pretty perfect. And I dont mind switching occasionally if the autofilled support does not want support (except the jinx I gave my midlane to last night and proceeded to feed and afk, she can go step on a lego :<).
And it's a HUGE improvement compared to pick order.

It was never like that before though. Did you not play back then? Or are you just blindly repeating what riot says?
Playing in high plat/diamond pretty much exclusively playing mid/jungle or mid/top the highest queue time I have ever seen was around 12 minutes, and that was in the middle of the night, around 4am EST.
I imagine in low elo, it must be dramatically faster. These exaggerations are outrageous.
Autofill is dumb af for the majority of players.
Either way, I miss the old system. I got my primary role a lot more often when it was pick order tbh. >.>
Maybe autofill is an attempt to address people's complaints about lack of enough IP for rune pages.
i dont mind autofill personally because I main support this season, but what bugs me when a jungle one trick gets bot lane and if nobody else can play bot, then my jungle one trick goes against a draven one trick and you can imagine how that turns out.
