worst meta in League of Legends to date?

Is it just me or is this meta of catering to casual players incredibly not fun? I remember when league used to have good levels of strategic play and clear ways to ranking up, and what was strong and weak. Now it feels so unbalanced to the point of feeling like this game has lost any sense of direction. I remember watching LCS games and being enthralled by how skilled the players were and how the eb and flow of a game was interesting. games were not complete stomps. now you can watch a game for 10 minutes and know the outcome 99% of the time. reverting zac shows that they are still running down this path of making everyone a '1-shot champ' and that is not at all healthy for a game that is supposed to have strategy. what is the point of it being on a traditional moba(multiplayer online battle arena) map if all league is now, is a BA (battle arena) like fortnite? I've been playing since season 4 and it saddens me to see the falling of this game, imho.
