I think it's right at the point where people get a big head and THINK they are so good, that they can now ignore all basic mechanics of the game. The majority of people just absolutely lose their minds and all knowledge of the game when they enter Plat. They stop warding, they start face-checking again like they did in bronze, and they lose their lane almost every single game.

If you aren't prepared to be able to 1v5 the enemy team-- EVERY GAME-- and just pray that they don't feed that Kalista or Jinx 10 kills in the first 10 minutes, you wont last.

pretty much lmao, was easy till plat 3 then everyone got retarded or something and can only play one champion and feed on it when they do xD

some platinum players could be scripters who wanted a high elo, only to get it handed back to them in their face, but you never know

Welcome to silver 3, where your promotional searies to silver 2 you get a previous season plat, current silver 1 ryze top going 0/8/0 at 20 minutes aginst a gold 5 rengar and a fully stacked tear that never gets turned into an AA staff untill the 40 minute mark. (most likely a player than just bought a plat account and dropped) and trying to climb as a support main (though i also play other roles at decent levels for my elo support is my strongest) got so bad i couldent even do anything even after resorting to selling my gold item to try to get some armour. We where winning in lane but i couldent keep up. Died so many times just trying to peel people off my carrys, usually i die mabye 3-4 times tops as a support mabye a little more if im a front wall but this was just excessive and i diddnt even get anything out of it my carrys kept dying anyway. Silver is hell for real. Even in bronze when i was bronze i could still at least get my team to let them selves be carried (if i was in a carry role anyway). in silver you get alot of people that bought accounts that where previously an elo boosted account and dropped and they should be bronze so its really hard to climb. You get a mix of gold level ect, people who belong in silver, dropped elo boosters, and bronze players with 300 normals played total that got lucky placements into silver with terrible runes and no idea how to play their champions.
