What do I do when my support picks lux support???

TS Media··3 votes·828 views

I get zoned off of cs. She fucks me over farming, She can't peel. She does 0 damage if she misses skill shots. She has no outplay potential. And late game she sits further in the back than I do as an adc. Help????

You adapt to your support pick because they aren't required to play champions that you like

So give up CS and lose lane, and pray that I can make a comeback mid game without peel? Gotcha.

If she is that bad then what makes you think they would be better on something like thresh?

Then don't pick a thresh or champs with skill shots? The laning phase is 75% the support. If my support has no presence in lane and sits back further than me, then I clearly can't see how the champ is at all useful. I just need insight on how to play when this happens.

It isn't the supports job to play for you. If you are getting railed by Blitz hooks, that is on you and not Lux even if she is missing abilities.

Also, Lux E is like impossible to miss so you must be playing in bronze 5 or something because the missile speed combined with the field size is ridiculously easy to land

Yeah, alright dude. I'll keep that in mind next time pantheon and zac are jumping in the back line after me, with the enemy team blowing their locket and redemption while I have a lux in the back chucking out Es providing absolutely nothing for the team. Except building AP. Zyra has way more early game pressure than lux and does well without items. Lux really doesn't. Her shield is weak and her poke damage is ass.

When thresh just walks up and zones me from CS while I had the lux support sitting there chucking E's, I'll remember that she's doing her job. It's MY fault I'm getting zoned out by the enemy support after all.

How can Lux not peel when she has a root on a fairly low CD, as well as a large slow field?

Additionally, it is not the supports job to body block you. You still have to play and pay attention to danger no matter where your support is positioned.

You hope the lux is actually good instead of trash that queued mid/sup, starts dorans ring, uses elementalist and cant hit shit to save their life, also never shields and never angles the return shield over you.

That's basically every lux supp.

I say be thankful that you have a support with good poke to keep the enemy laners from engaging on you.. but yes expect to lose some CS and she tends to burst people down really fast when she catches someone with her full combo with ulti..

TS Media1 votes

yeah... by the time I hit 6 I'm so far behind that it doesn't matter if she catches anyone. I can't go in because she's already dealt damage by being useless levels 1-5. I'm already 30+ cs down. Down items and probably even a level and a half or so. Can't go aggressive of course and I pray it's an easy farm lane where I'm not getting poked 24/7 cause god knows there's nothing she can do there.

Uh, yes. Leona is the best champion to play into that comp. You'd rather play LUX into that?

Pray for the game to be over soon. It's basically a 3v1 lane. Lux isn't a bad support but no one that plays her in the botlane actually plays like a supp. It's usually people that wanted mid but got autofilled.

Except me, sadly. I played lux support and was good at it before i knew lux was not a support.
