Deep Terror Nami1 votesActually, the gold generation is considerably better for a passive strategy. You can swap it for FQC later after it has paid for itself. If the enemy supp is considerably better at trading than you and has a high kill threat, you can deny that and much of their Spellthief Tribute gold by just getting Coin and not playing to their strengths.

The active is particularly great to me, movespeed that allows for easy engages/disengages, epic for a passive healer. Got to Gold III with that item, and I've found it important on more than one occasion. :)
