Rune removal and Masteries rework (again) Oh boy, where to start with this. How about a complete removal and attempted rebuilding of one of the most basic principals of the game, in a very one-sided manner? I’m talking, absolute shafting of the resistances granted by runes with a little bandaid plastered on top in place of that gaping hole in our defenses. Further buffing to outright damage (How do you like infinitely stacking burst damage on ALL champs now, Dark Harvest? Or Nasus-level tower damage for squatting near a tower for 5s?) while hardly even compensating the lost resistances in runes in the masteries. 5 armor or mr, or both after 5 minutes? Ooh, you spoil me. I’llbe sure to keep that in mind while Talon gets a buff to being 40% of all first bloods

Blue Essence Emporium Wanna know why Essence was so successful, Riot? Because it was completely separate from Influence Points, and therefore was an alternative, a fallback. It wasn’t plentiful but it was there, meanwhile IP was your usual go-to for champion (and rune) stuff. Combining them and making BE(ip) take longer to get UP FRONT, while still keeping it RNG and tying it to everything, that ruins the fun. You didn’t even HAVE to make BE the focus. The Emporium was just as able to be IP as BE. Which leads me to...

Shady business deals Come on. You can’t expect any of us to believe that none of you saw the opportunity to get more RP sales out of this, right? People get fed up of ACTUALLY GAMBLING with BE, they buy RP for their champ or MASTERY PAGE (which you used to be able to make for free) and you make momey off their fair impatience. Not to mention ghost-cutting the Orange Essence output for disenchantimg skin and ward shards while keepimg the cost the same, to overall devalue loot and the things you get from loot. Nobody knows what the fuck they’re doing
I dom’t say that in flame. I’m not calling anybody bad. Nobody has any clue what they’re doing, they take more damage than they expect, they don’t know how much damage they do or where the damage comes from. Some champions are just GODLY now out of nowhere, while others who either have no “rune” benefitting them or were nerfed around a certain old keystone breaking them just being left in the dust - again out of nowhere. Despite the core goals being the same, it honestly feels like this is a parody of league of legends. I don’t know when I installed this virus, but you should probably sue, it’s using yoir assets.

Season rewards are also hilariously slow to come out lol, I get it has to do with checking ranks to award chromas, but did you have to pick this April Fools Day preseason to do a chroma reward? You’re so busy running around without heads trying to find out why the servers are actually on fire to push out the rewards, and unless you have a snapshot you’re using, people have decayed down from the position they’d otherwise have.
