Why does Riot put such a big limit on members for clubs?

Dear Rito and friends:

My club is at max membership and active. My question is: why don't we have more room for members? Why aren't clubs allowed to bring in a membership in the 100s?

If clubs could be bigger, we might see consolidation of Clubs and a lot more activity and friendship blossoming. Clubs have the potential to become a major social venue!!!

I think clubs should be allowed to recruit in the hundreds; that way more people have a chance to cooperate, make friends and create events.
