This guy is so rarely played, I partially forget he even exists, he runs a near perfect 50% winrate, noone really gives a flying feather about him anyway...

HOw the hell did anyone in RIOT balancing team came up with "You know what? LETS NERF KARTHUS!"

Seriously what the hell? Did someone in the balancing team get his ass beaten by a good Karthus player or what the hell happened here?

And yes, I know, Slowpoke, but thats just another proove how I already forgot Karthus exists...

And its really Interesting, that nerfing a champion like Karthus is higher priority to RIOT than nerfing champions like Yasuo or Tham Kench

His early game power was too oppressive for such a late game hypercarry. Jax, on the other hand, is A-Okay. Real talk though: As someone who mains Karthus, I can understand the nerfs, tbh. But it is also frustrating that outliers are being prioritized over central balance problems. Like, you might see a Karthus once ever 20-30 games and it could feel bad, but Jax is eating all of our bans, rageblade in general is a huge point of frustration, and it feels like if Jax ever isn't banned (or I run into him in any blind pick game mode) he'll just completely ruin the game. .-. Meanwhile, we're being Patronized for hating Tahm Kench. Rammus OK.

Except he's supposed to be carrying late game. He's a late game scaler, who's also got a lot of early game power. He trades nothing and is good pretty much all game.

If I'm correct, I heard somewhere a balanced champion should have just a little above a 50% winrate, around a 52% I think. Too good/abusable is 55%+, and anything below 50% is not great.

This is just hearsay, though, so it could be entirely wrong.

Exactly this. As an unpopular champion unable to make flashy LC$biplays, having him perform well potentially lowers any kind of flashy flash flashes flashing on the flashlane of LC$, so no, fuck Karthus and everyone who is not Lee sin

1v1, he's underpowered, where he shines is teamfights where with good positioning you end up right in the middle of the enemy team when they kill you, thus allowing you to still have a significant impact in the fight despite being dead (especially if the enemy team forgets about his passive, I can't count the number of times I've gotten kills because the enemy team decided to focus me down as karrthus, and then absolutely ignored me while I beat them down from beyond the grave).

They nerfed his keystone, shiv, and ie got nerfed in the transfer to preason.

Not saying I know whether he's balanced or not, but don't complain about there being no nerfs on a champ who's been hit multiple times over the last three patches.

Yas has the tricky kind of kit. It's either overbuffed or overnerfed because his kit works well with items quite a bit. Nerfing his kit hurts him too much, and nerfing his items just hurt ADC's too.

Not saying that he's balanced, hell no. He does need a tap, just Riot doesn't want to make the mistake of hurting him too much.

I mean the guy is clearly one of the most poorly designed champions in this game,if anybody had to be overnerfed,yasuo would be a prime candidate for that position.
