Rumble has lost his identity

As a former Rumble one trick, I care for this champ allot and feel he has tons of unique attributes. I said former one trick because I have barely played rumble at all since September. when I picked up rumble early season 6, I was attached to him because of his unique play style in lane and ability turn fights in the late game. The problem is both of those aspects are gone now. In lane, I still even after the buff struggle to beat most enemy match ups. In the late game, Rumble has been demoted from a team fight menace to a squishy back liner who lacks range. I enjoyed playing rumble like a Bruiser (able to take damage and deal it back out consistently) but recent meta shifts haven't allowed for this. Many Rumble players have adapted to the meta changes by playing him glass cannon in the mid lane, a change that I have not been able to follow. recently I have started playing singed... am I just jumping on the meta? I don't know... and only time will tell if I will keep playing him when his win rate drops. I do know one thing for certain... I miss playing rumble and having a good time doing so.

Please comment below if you share my opinions about rumble or if you have ever felt this way about your main.

When did people start with this "champion lost it's identity" bs?

He isn't strong atm, maybe not even viable, but I can't see why he should have lost his identity because of this. One flat buff will take him back to where he was.

yea I understand what you are saying... the problem isn't that he is "weak" right now for me, its that he is only viable as a glass cannon. I'm just sad that I'm having a hard time playing a champ I have 300k mastery on.
