With Twitch getting looked at for buffs can he get benefits from his passive on champions.

With Darius' rework working out well and him getting a large and noticeable buff from getting 5 stacks on a champion, I was thinking why couldn't Twitch get some benefit from hitting 6 stacks on an enemy champion.

Now it doesn't have to be the same stat stick Darius gets in the shape of AD and max stacks instantly to others, but some benefit would surely give players more incentive to play Twitch. As it stands his passive and E is just a weaker version of Kalista's rend (stacking infinitely, resetting on kills for lane dominance and poke).

Since we know that riot is looking at Twitch for buffs, I feel like this would be a good place to tackle; A have a few suggestions already and hope to read your suggestions as well.

Some ideas I have are: Upon reaching max stacks on an enemy champion, Twitch's autoattacks do an additional amount of true damage based on his AD on any champion with max stacks of his passive on them (like 10-20% of his bonus AD). If Twitch uses Contaminate (E) on an enemy champion with max stacks, the cooldown of it is halved. Upon reaching max stacks on an enemy champion Twitch is given an attack speed boost = to half the amount of attack speed he gets from Ambush (Q)

What do you think?

I made a thread about Twitch's E vs. Kalista's E a while ago. Maybe if he did 50% increased damage with his E against enemies who had 6 stacks? Or maybe auto attacking an enemy with 6 stacks decreases his cooldowns?

I like this, Twitch needs significant buffs. I would probably label him as the most weak ADC in the game for very good reasons, and I feel like he needs more than just the minor buffs Riot gave him, like adding exactly 0 damage to his rank 1 ultimate.

Twitch has probably the worst early game of all ADCs since his passive doesn't even do damage but lowers their health regen, he has no auto attack steroids, and he needs multiple items to be effective. On top of that his late game, where he is at his strongest point, is easily outshone by Vayne, Tristana, Jinx, etc. Champions who are well known to be late game hypercarries. Twitch's ultimate CAN be devestating and win games on It's own, but the chance of that is one in a million.

A significant buff to Twitch would be great, he's one of my favorite ADCs but he's so frustrating to play with against competent opponents. If you don't play perfectly all game long and have literally the best Support in the world, you're just going to be ineffective. His passive is impossible to apply all 6 stacks on, his W and E just feed into his already mediocre passive damage, and his only real auto attack steroid aside from his ultimate (his Ambush Attack Speed buff) is so minor you don't even notice it most of the game.

My thought was to make his deadly venom deal more damage based on missing health.

For instance- at level 1 if the target affected by deadly venom has above 66% health the dot will deal 1 damage per stack(50% less than standard value)

If the target is between 33%-66% it would deal the standard 2 damage per stack .

and if the targets is below 33% hp the venom will deal 3 damage per stack (50% more damage) .

I mean it does make sense that the venom becomes more deadly when the affected target is more injured and weak.

I miss Twitch. IMO, Twitch should be the strongest late game adc. Twitch is an all in adc. He has no way around it. So he needs to be incredibly strong. Lets compare other hyper carries

-Vayne can tumble and knockback enemies -Kog can ulti at a safe distance -Trist can jump away and knockback enemies -Jinx has traps and a huge ms increase

please no. twitch has invisibility & kalista doesn't. those 2 champs shouldn't be compared with just their e's like that because they have different play styles. his surprise ganks are very effective and he doesn't need a powerful nuke. please consider all his skills when you compare twitch to other champs...

Do you really want twitch's attack speed and base ad gutted to the point where you have to use abilities to effectively last hit?

The E buff would be optimal. The other two could kind of be easily abused, and then Riot would put the poor ol' rat in a box floating down the river. I know it doesn't seem like much, but that true damage passive stacks up. Not that much, but it still is enough. I was sad when they made the Darius passive run off of attack damage, I don't want the same thing to happen to Twitch if they buff his passive.

Twitch is a stealther who just got his stealth buffed. No need for any damage buffs when he's already one of the highest damage adcs in the late game. Maybe some quality of life changes are in order, but that's it.

No more true damage please. we have enough of that around here.

twitch buff, where?!

You know, I really wouldn't mind a bit of an AA range buff for Twitch. Not a large buff, because his positioning should be everything due to his Stealth, but right now even if you position yourself 100% correctly going into any fight is still very risky. For twitch, if you don't have your ult or 2 other people with you, you just can't do anything without dying immediately. He feels like he's supposed to be a champ that plays mind-games via ambush and the fear of getting caught out alone with a twitch burst, but he just dies too fast to duel half the time and even ulting doesn't burst people down fast enough at times. There is just way too much risk, even for a champion like him.

I'd also attribute his AA range to why his early laning phase is so hellish. You can't get close without fearing insta-death, but you have to get closer than most other ADCs just to CS. He has no good harass - you can't reliably AA the enemy laners and the cask might as well do nothing. That being said, his closer range would be more worthwhile if his passive did more damage, because a single misstep from an opponent resulting in a really nasty consequence could result in his laning phase going from "Hope you don't die even if you position 100% correctly" to "One of you will die, and it's the guy who didn't position 100% correct."

All that aside, if Twitch sets up perfectly for a teamfight and his ult is up, the whole enemy team literally melts. It's one of the aspects of twitch that I feel is actually very balanced/satisfying and uses the ambush mechanic well.

Tl;dr: His abilities work great when the rest of the team is near you, but they make for poor laning. That combined with a low AA range/lower damage passive and massive squishines don't let Twitch to get off the ground in a manner that feels skill-based. The laning phase for twitch is so atrociously bad that coming ahead during it is a miracle and doesn't feel too skill based - your support is godly, your opponents made some VERY bad mistakes, or your jungle camped bottom lane for you. You literally have to be babysat the whole time because a single flask is not going to help when you have to be so close to the enemy and you are just so, so so squishy. This still applies even if you have the element of surprise and are going 1 v 1 against anyone other than low damage supports or very squishy champions with no stun CC up....and something about that just doesn't seem right.

if it's not %true damage then it's not a rework to it at all. 2/10 effort.
