how often do you get support if its your secondary? i like to support but if i primary it i almost never get another role.
id like to adc/support

No set rule really, its pretty dam frequent as a secondary but the exact amount is on a day to day depending on how players are Queing up.
Edit, My suggestion is to do ADC,X when you have fill protection. In the less likely event you get a 2ndary you can ask to swap. X should be a role your able to play well enough to not handicap yourself and team. Now if you don't have a role like that I believe Mid lane tends to be pretty high popularity and is somewhat easier to swap with a support for as many "supports" are filled mid players. Just conjecture on my part here so take it with a grain of salt.
