What the hell do I do about Renekton?

This champion is the most annoying guy to play against.

He does so much damage and heals so much that, even if I do win a trade, he just heals it all back in 10 seconds. I can never farm, because he knows that if I even come an inch too close, he'll faceroll his keyboard and take half my health while healing 1/5th of his. What the hell do I do against him? If I just sit back at tower, he'll get CS while I get 1 or 2 mage minions every minute.

People say he falls off late game, but I don't see that either. Irelia, Pantheon, Garen, any champ I play, he just does the same thing. Jump in, blow your combo and if I fight back, pop ult and keep facerolling until death.

So is there any way I can actually counter play him other than "Lay an egg in your tower and hope your jungler comes over for a smoothie."?

It's really getting frustrating.

Wait for Riot to realize that faceroll lanebullies outscaling everyone by dint of never letting anybody else scale is cancer.

Let him own the lane. It's his lane you just CS under tower. He is an early lane bully, dont let him abuse you. If you only get 2 cs per wave under tower then you are doing it wrong.

You can trade when you get a powerspike in items or jungler comes and ganks.

Do not feed the croc and usually you will win.

Something a lot of people mess up with against Renekton, don't play scared. If you stay back and let Renekton build Fury then you're just screwing yourself over.

One thing about renek is that he is extremely predictable

If he dashes in you know he will follow up with a stun and a q then dash out again.

Go someone who can sustain or trade back, trundle is a good option, he outscales him hard, maokai is another. Riven is a time bomb, he has the early game but if she rides it out it quickly swings to her favour.

Old vlad used to be decent into him but the rework fluffed that, dunno how new when is though.

Irelia has a rough time against him, she needs tri to do anything meaningful but if she doesn't get tank quickly he will dominate the lane.

Really shouldn't be losing to Renekton as Pantheon by default. Supposed to poke him with Q and optimally you don't want him to get Q trades off of on you. A jungle gank in lower elo practically guarantees that he dies if he has burned his dash already.

If you want a counterpick, use Teemo or Quinn. Garen goes even with Renekton in lane and is a skill-based matchup. Irelia's early game is weaker than his but her mid-game definitely fits better and her TP ganks are stronger.

I greatly suggest you actually learn to pick only one champion to play and see how the matchup goes for you vs. Renekton, then analyze how you could've traded better. Allowing the Renekton to push in the wave is for jungle ganks and it's really not necessary if you're playing something that can actually fight him early on. Things like Fiora and Riven outscale Renekton, while tankier champions actually do more overall for the team.

Pantheon does pretty well against him lane and with Darius it's a skill match up but Darius is pretty oppressive if he wins lane.

Start Cloth armor and health pots and play it safe for a while.

He might not fall off as hard as people like to say but if you are able to stay alive and farm half decently early game he will become less of a problem by around level 7 or 8.

He will rek you early game if you try to fight him alone.
