Don't you love it when this happens?

http://webmshare.com/XQJR7 When you throw something that's supposed to deal 600 damage at Ryze, but he has 139 MR and barely takes any damage while dealing shit tons of damage?

For people wondering, I was 5/1/6 and he was 6/1/6 or something like that. Yes, he had a gold lead, but that doesn't matter. What's the point of building glass cannon when you can pick champs that abuse tank items and still melt people? Why is Ryze allowed to have 0AP for half of the game and being unkillable while still dealing A LOT of damage? I really don't know what to do. Even with Void and more AP, he took 0 fucking damage because of resistances on top of his free shield.

Btw, how do you deal with him? Is there a way to beat a good Ryze? Because I can't find one unless I'm playing full MR Galio myself.
