Can we add a dodge penalty to the new honor system?

If you frequently dodge you lose your honor ranks one by one.

Might be a way to finally fix the long queue times due to people dodging when they get autofilled.

I disagree on this suggestion. Wether a player is friendly/sportsman like or not is completly unrelated to wether he dodges queue. Yes, maybe a more harsh penalty for dodging queue is needed, but I don't want it to be taken into the honor systeme.

I think this might be too harsh. I know there are a lot of players suffering long queues just because people keep dodging, but honestly I don't think the penalty should be that harsh because noone wants that guy who claims he can't play any support and locks in Yasuo on the support lane, for example.

It isn't that much of a problem any more. 4 months ago (you necro'd my thread btw ;P) it was a huge problem. I had 10 minute queues in silver elo.

Regarding the troll supports: That's why the original idea was to just punish people who leave/dodge frequently.

Having said that the thread's pretty much irrelevant now. Just asking: Did you search for such topics or is the boards algorithm fucked again?

I'm okay with this if they let me dodge one of my promo games without counting it as a loss.

I think lower ranks should just do away with autofill, because the playerbase is significantly larger in bronze-plat ranks compared to Challeneger tier. I know in challeneger, master, and diamond tier dodging games in a daily thing, because even in the highest ranks you can still get teammates that waste a ban then pick a really weak champion (in the currenr meta) or end up with a super heavy AD or AP team comp. Also dodging a rank game only makes you lose lp, you dont lose any MMr for dodging which is the big deciding factor for what team mates and enemy players you are against.

It's already punishment enough to be locked out of the game for a period of time as well as lose LP if you are playing ranked games. It's a queue dodge, okay? The world isn't going to end because of it. You just get your shit together and you queue up again.
