Lux vs. Morgana

Yeah, but looking at ults changes things, because of how similar the rest of their kits are. Morgana has a pure utility ult. Not that it doesn't do damage (it can get pretty hefty), but you use it for the CC. You're also in danger while using it because of the range, so you're more likely to get assists off of it than kills. Lux's ult is nothing but high damage in a line every 30 seconds or so. While this can be used in a variety of ways, it's just damage, and it's so long-range that it becomes a sniper tool for picking off the weak.

They're both at least somewhat effective as sololaners and supports, and which you take where is up to you. It's just how i see things.
